How long has it been since you roamed through the beautiful countryside in a large group? Celebrate a rustic party here in the middle of nature. Be active around Rabenstein Castle
Our large meadow next to the Celtic village offers plenty of space for activities such as archery or axe throwing. Many things are possible around Rabenstein Castle, such as soapbox building, knight tournaments, games without limits, via ferrata courses, geocaching, quad rides or kayak tours.

On the promenade path to the caves
The romantic hiking trail in the middle of Franconian Switzerland starts on the forecourt of Rabenstein Castle. Follow the sign of the green chess queen on the right. The total length is approx. 6 km. The difference in altitude is a pleasant 90 m: parking lot 438 m, valley floor 370 m, ridge trail 460 m (source: Franconian Switzerland Association Ailsbach-Ahorntal). 95% forest provide sufficient shade and a unique atmosphere even on hot days. The circular trail leads back to Rabenstein Castle, where the Gutsschenke tavern with its beer garden invites you to stop for refreshments and a snack.
